The tree says that its acorn has been stolen and if returned, the tree will give Aedan a reward. One of the werewolves, Swiftrunner, tells the warden to give up and go back to the camp.ĭuring their talk, Swiftrunner implies that the werewolves have grievances against the elves, and when the werewolves seem ready to attack, Aedan convinces them to avoid attacking the group just yet.Įxploring the forest more yields an encounter with a large talking tree called the Grand Oak. Once the party leaves the camp and enters the forest proper, they encounter a group of patrolling werewolves. Zathrian explains that the lycanthropy spreads like a disease, but a cure is possible if Aedan can get the original werewolf’s heart.
